WIPAHS organized a special Majilis on the 27th of Rajab 1447 A.H at Unity Hall, Chang’ombe Temeke to commemorate the blessed event of Israa and Mi’raj. The gathering brought together believers and community members with the aim of strengthening faith and reflecting on the spiritual lessons of this historic journey.
Three key presentations were delivered during the event. Sister Maysarah Mvamilia spoke on the selection of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) as Uswatul Hasanah (the best example), highlighting his qualities of justice, compassion, and leadership. Sister Hidaya addressed the consequences of neglecting prayer, emphasizing its role as the pillar of faith and the direct link between a believer and Allah. Sister Halima concluded with a talk on women and society, underscoring the vital role of women in nurturing families, promoting education, and shaping moral values.
Overall, the Majilis served as a source of inspiration and unity. Participants were reminded of the Prophet’s exemplary leadership, the indispensable importance of prayer in a Muslim’s life, and the profound contribution of women to the well-being of society. The event left a lasting spiritual and social impact on all who attended.
