WIPAHS Inaugurates New Clean Water Well at Lushoto District Hospital
The World Islamic Propagation and Humanitarian Services (WIPAHS) has inaugurated a new clean water well at Lushoto District Hospital, in a ceremony attended by District Commissioner Hon. Zephania Sumaye.
WIPAHS Director, Mr. Jabir Rajani, announced that this marks the 97th well drilled in Lushoto District, with plans to add 25 more. He expressed gratitude to partners and donors, especially The Mainstay Foundation UK, for their support.

To date, WIPAHS has constructed 325 wells across Tanga Region, ensuring safe water access for underserved communities. Residents and hospital staff welcomed the initiative, noting its vital role in improving healthcare delivery and enhancing the hospital’s ability to serve patients and staff.
